Helping men, especially fathers
MEN'S PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH
Men approach their health very differently to women. It is well understood that men are far less likely to seek help for physical or mental health concerns. However, it is also well understood that men suffer greater mental health problems as a consequence.

It is often difficult for men to seek help for mental health issues or counselling for struggles in life. Nevertheless, there is a significant change underway . Help-seeking by men is increasing year on year, and young men are leading the way, being far more likely to reach out for help than their father's generation.

At Applecross Counselling we understand the difficulties men face and we have considerable experience in working with men to improve their wellbeing and the wellbeing of their families.

Please don't hesitate to call Applecross Counselling to discuss your circumstances.
